About Richard Perry
Richard Perry has a long history of working with non-profit organizations as a Director of Development and consultant. For eight years he served as Director of Development for a U.S-based relief and development organization where he and his team increased the donor list from 16,000 to 350,000 people and annual income rose from $600,000 to $15 million in just four years. Richard was a co-founder of The Domain Group which he and his business partner sold in 2005. Domain was one of the largest direct marketing agencies serving non-profits in the United States. Driven by a passion for major gift fundraising, Richard founded The Veritus Group where he and his business partner, Jeff Schreifels, have developed an innovative and effective approach to turn around the loss of major gift revenue which, for many charities, is in the 40-60% range per year. Richard and his colleagues currently serve clients, large and small, from every philanthropic sector in the United States, Canada and Europe. In addition to his management and leadership responsibilities, Richard specializes in organization development, strategic planning, positioning, branding, new ventures, and diversification.
