Welcome to the world of ‘Donor Affinity Purposeful Engagement’ where organizational philanthropic goals are aligned to drive your organization to become more focused and strategic- and where you can unleash your team to engage and excite prospects & donors in refreshing and very effective ways. In this new world of ‘purposeful engagement’, those actions that contribute to engagement are placed on the To Do List and those that do not are skuttled to the Do Not Do List. Our hope is that you will depart with an appreciation for the term ‘Treasure what you Measure’, with emphasis on quantifying engagement, promoting donor affinity, building your team of influencers, writing and maintaining multiple case statements, and redefining the role of the development officer. Leading this adventure to another world are: Bill Kinard, Vice President of Resourcing Impact, Dogwood Health Trust; and Wilson Sims, Sims & Steele Consulting.
