individual and professional advisor clients, with a focus on major, life income and planned gifts,
legacy planning, and personal philanthropic consulting. Sheryl is also an affiliated consultant

Sheryl led asset development, planned giving, advisor, affiliate and nonprofit fundholder
services at The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina for over 21 years. She has
held volunteer leadership roles for the community foundation field nationally, the North
Carolina Planned Giving Council and the Land of Sky Estate Planning Council. For eight years,
Sheryl served as a peer reviewer for the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations,
conducting policy, program and operational accreditation assessments.
