Pay Tribute & Celebrate the Importance of Philanthropy in our Community
National Philanthropy Day is a special day to recognize and pay tribute to the great contributions that philanthropy – and those active in the philanthropic community – make to our lives, communities and world. Each November, the Association of Fundraising Professionals Western North Carolina Chapter celebrates the importance of philanthropy and recognizes those who are doing extraordinary work in our community.
In light of the ongoing crisis in Western North Carolina following Hurricane Helene, the AFP WNC Board of Directors has opted to cancel the National Philanthropy Day celebration for 2024. We are so proud of all of the work our local nonprofits and philanthropists are doing and we look forward to connecting with you in December.
